Premier Communities offers a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty with every home sold. A nationally known company, 2-10HBW bases all criteria for warranty determination on the NAHB (National Association of Home Builders) Set of Standards and Guidelines. The home buying process can sometimes be an overwhelming task. During the final turnover process, homeowners are not always able to ask all of the appropriate questions because of the excitement of seeing their new home for the first time. With the addition of the Villas at Turnberry Trace, Premier Communities will be changing the warranty item reporting policies. Prior to Turnberry Trace, homeowners were asked to submit warranty request forms 1 month, 6 months, and 1 year after C.O. The new reporting policy will be 4 months and 1 year after C.O. Any homeowners living in the Carriage Homes at Lakeside Plantation should continue to follow the reporting times outlined in your turnover book. All homeowners are asked to submit warranty requests on the forms provided in your turnover book. To make sure that there is a tracking system for your requests, they must be submitted in writing, to the office. There is no assurance that a verbal request will get immediate attention or closure. Also, make sure you submit the forms at the appropriate time. Only emergency items will get immediate action, while typical warranty requests will be addressed at the next specified timeframe as outlined. Most of the developments that Premier Communities creates are "maintenance free". A lawn, landscape, and irrigation maintenance company is contracted to handle all exterior lawn and plant upkeep. Should you notice dead plants, lawn, or irrigation issues, please contact Artistree Nursery and Landscape Design at 941-488-8897.
